Assistant Manager/Manager - SAP Support


Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Management of SD and MM Module in SAP
    1. Carry out mapping , customization & configuration of new business process & users requirements in SAP for all modules in consultation with Sap support consultants.
    2. To check & resolve all user based issues for all modules at Head office , Plants and Depots . Coordinate with concerned dept for resolving issues and errors as per priority.
    3. To test all scenarios , integration with other modules for all issues / new requirements / changes with users on development server , before final transport to production server.
    4. To coordinate and quick follow up with Sap Support consultants for all issues/enhancement & new requirements and to provide testing scenarios to SAP Support partner on DVL server for testing of issues.
    5. To coordinate and provide inputs to inhouse & support partner abaper for all issues , changes in smart form , reports , enhancements , screens , taxation & statutory changes , Bdc , user exits & new requirements.
    6. Creation and configuration of New Plants , Depots , Storage locations , zmvt types etc in Sap.
    7. Creation of screen variants & Job scheduling for reports as per need basis.
    8. Creation and maintenance of Sap Masters - MM , PP , QM , SD and FICO Module.
    9. Creation of New Division, Material Group, MRP Group , Creation & Assigning Cost Center, Profit Center, G/L Account in Sap.
    10. Carry out month end and all year end activities in SAP. Maintain Yearly Number Ranges for All India Level Plant / Depots for Tax Invoice, Debit Note, Credit Note, Transfer Memo, Goods Receipt , Fgtn and Stock Transfer Invoices.
    11. To prepare / update SOPS for all changes in masters.
    12. To update and document all new / changes in process , screen , ztable , new movement types etc for future reference and trouble shooting. To carry out validation and internal Performance Qualification for all changes with Gmp Impact.
    13. Handling of all internal and external Sap audits along with IT head.
    14. Daily monitoring & check of Spools and clearing of the same.
    15. Creation of all user manuals for new process , enhancements and training to end users.
    16. Preparing/Assigning of change control documents for all new/changes in SAP.
    17. To keep track of operational errors / repetitive mistakes made by users & train & educate them on the same.
    18. Online training / Guidance to Depots/Plant users during issues.
    19. System Study and Assisting IT Head in New Implementation / Modules.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Domain expertise in Sales and Distribution.
  2. Working experience in SAP - SD & MM Modules.
  3. Experience in Handling Sap masters (MM, PP & SD ).
  4. Experience in user level Trouble shooting.
  5. Experience of working in Pharma industry will be added advantage.
  6. Knowledge of SAP PP and QM Module will be added advantage.
  7. Experience in documentation ( SOPs) and Sap Validation will be added advantage.
